We have two paddle boats, and two kayaks available free to our guests to use in the crystal clear water, the lake water clarity is 15 feet. The kayaks can be used both in the lake and for use on the Ottertail River, a spring fed river that flows into Deer Lake and on into East Lost Lake. The river tubing is a great way to spend a few hours gently riding down the river while watching ducks, geese, herons and deer. The Ottertail river is also one of Minnesota's prettiest rivers. Our lake has a sand bottom and the swimming area is protected by the dock. |
| | For the smaller guests we have lots of sand both on our beach and at this Rainbow playgym area. There is a slide, and swing and sand toys to play with. |
| We are very proud of our NEW dock system (spring of 2004). If you bring your own boat, we provide a slip with electricity right at the slip. This is our fleet of very late model Alumacraft boats and Mercury and Mariner outboards. They are 14 foot long and are deep and wide and very stable. They are equipped with padded swivel seats, digital depth finders, anchors, and life jackets. Our Deluxe ALL-INCLUSIVE FISHING PACKAGE, all of the fuel and bait are included included FREE of charge. We offer the Pontoon boat in an all-inclusive Fisherman Package as well, so be sure to check or Rate Page to take advantage of this offer. |

| This is why we named the resort Fisherman's Village. This young lady caught this 5 pound Northern with in hours of their arrival. All you have to do is call us, and your kids can have this much fun too! |
| You and your young children can fish for hours off our big marina style dock. The water is so clear you can see the fish swimming around the dock. |
| Fall of 2004 we underwent a complete shoreline restoration project with the Minnesota DNR. This project cost close to $30,000. The old crumbling walls were removed and the shore reshaped. We planted 10 new trees, 30 shrubs, and 2700 natural plants and grasses. The aquatic plants will be planted spring of 2005. These are some before and after photos. We are committed. to doing everything possible to enhance the environment and preserve it for generations to come! |
